CG-Source.com is all about high quality textures in super high resolution. As a 3d artist I always had problems finding good textures, they are always too small both in physical size and resolution. So I decided to change that by making a site with textures where the current average resolution is 101 megapixels per texture.
As this site is all about quality and NOT quantity there is currently only a limited amount of products but I will do my best to keep the list of content growing.
I also decided to take it one step further and hired a programmer to develop some tools for 3dsmax so it's possible to make HUGE floors that can be seen really close, do not tile, and can be adjusted in many ways on the fly. This can be done when each board is in its own texture file and with multiple of those they can be assigned randomly to objects or elements in 3dsmax. I decided to give the tools away in hope that people will buy some MultiTextures that they can use with the tools.
